SuperSprings International (Carpinteria, California) introduced the SumoSprings Solo Kit as a replacement/upgrade for the Sprinter’s front and rear O.E. bump stops.

These products were introduced to enhance load carrying abilities, reduce sway, and improve the overall ride comfort of the Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vans manufactured by Mercedes, Dodge, and Freightliner. SumoSprings Solo – SSF-106-40 (Front kit for 2500 and 3500, 2007-2017) and SSR-329-47 (Rear kit for 2500, 2003-2016) or SSR-338-47 (Rear kit for 3500, 2003-2017) –  are larger than the factory bump stops they replace, creating earlier and smooth engagement.

“Mercedes-Benz recently announced they are expanding the Sprinter lineup with additional chassis, engines, and configurations,” said Gerry L., CEO, SuperSprings. “In response to their popularity, we have committed to engineering a product that matches the expectations of the work truck industry. The goal of the Sprinter SumoSprings is to provide a product that not only enhances the suspension systems, but reduces future maintenance costs while increasing driver/vehicle safety.”

These products are a great addition to fleets. SumoSprings help reduce the costs associated with wear and tear on other suspension components, increase vehicle and operator safety, and are a maintenance-free suspension enhancement.

“The SumoSprings Solo kit on the front of the van eliminated the hard bottoming out I was used to with the factory bump stops,” said Bill C. owner/driver of Mercedes Sprinter 2500. “They reduced the sway at freeway speeds in wind and greatly improved the handling.”
