I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra and I’m hauling a 10,000 lb (when loaded) bumper hitched Toy Hauler and am interested in finding out if I should get the heavy duty supersprings or the heavy duty Sumo Springs. My hitch has a sway control pkg., so I’m more interested in leveling the load
Hello,
Thank you for your submission!
Generally speaking, the heavy duty SuperSprings are more recommended for commercial use. For example, service body trucks, dump trucks, tow trucks, etc. are applications where you’re going to see those heavy SuperSprings. If none of the above apply to you, the SumoSprings are definitely the way to go! In your case, the SSR-610-54 kit, is the best option available. That is our SumoSprings Solo kit, and it replaces the factory bump stop. It is a whole 3 inches taller, which means it will engage much quicker than the original equipment. This will result in a more comfortable, more smooth ride, especially when you are fully loaded! Leveling the load is mainly what you’re interested in? These SumoSprings will provide 2,800 pounds of capacity at 50% compression. SumoSprings compress up to 80% of their original body height, so our SumoSprings will have no trouble keeping your truck level!
We hope this helps answer your question, please do let us know if there is anything else you would like us to assist you with.
Thank you!
-Peter
